Jami Boyd BSN, RN, Clinical Site Coordinator

Jami joined MSQC in July of 2019. She has a 20-year career as a Registered Nurse almost entirely caring for surgical patients. Most recently, she was the Surgical Clinical Quality Reviewer (SCQR) at St Mary’s Mercy Hospital in Livonia within the Quality Department.

Prior to that, she was the Enhanced Recovery Nurse Navigator at St Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor where she helped navigate the colorectal surgery patients through their hospital experience. She participated in the development of the early post discharge clinic and was responsible for assessing patients 3-5 days after discharge from the hospital to avoid readmissions. She has a passion for the improvement of surgical care.

She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Madonna University in December 1998. Her primary responsibility is working with the MSQC clinical and QI team to provide training and ongoing clinical support to the MSQC clinical sites.
