Jennifer joined MSQC as our internal abstractor in May 2022. She has primarily worked with Surgical patients since becoming a nurse in 2009. Most recently, Jen was the Surgical Clinical Quality Reviewer (SCQR) at St. Mary’s Hospital for MSQC and had previously abstracted for both ASPIRE and MARCQI as well.

Before working in the Quality department, she worked in the operating room as a circulating nurse. Also, she provided education to total joint replacement patients preoperatively on what to expect before, during, and after surgery.

Jennifer obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Michigan.
