The April 12th MSQC & ASPIRE collaborative meeting will bring together surgeons and anesthesiologists from across the state of Michigan to hear presentations from speakers on a variety of topics that will address knowledge gaps.


After completing this activity, participants will be able to diagram incentives/barriers to reduce unnecessary preoperative testing and the need for comprehensive perioperative pathways. They will be able to diagram the benefits of using multimodal pain management to improve postoperative pain. They will be able to use multimodal pain management techniques. Lastly, summarize guideline recommendations, predict candidates for GLP-1s, optimize outcomes with medications, and summarize the correlation between SVI and surgical quality improvement.
