
MSQC & ASPIRE Collaborative Meeting at the Michigan Union

The April MSQC/ASPIRE Collaborative meeting brings surgeons and anesthesiologists together from across the state to hear presentations from speakers on a variety of topics that will address these knowledge gaps. We will host an interactive panel discussion on screening for antibiotic allergy. The Keynote speaker will focus on the benefits of shorter hospital stays for patients and the elements that have been added to ERAS protocols.
After participation in this activity participants will be able to do the following:
- Utilize the benefits of day surgery for colorectal resections for the patient, the hospital, and the healthcare system.
- Demonstrate how digital technology can facilitate patients’ early discharge from the hospital.
- Identify best practices in screening for antibiotic allergy before surgery
