Kim joined MSQC in November 2021, after working as a RN for twenty years in a wide variety of health care settings including intensive care, emergency care, and ambulatory care. Her nursing experience also includes time as a traveling nurse and an agency nurse.
Kim graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New England-Westbrook College. After graduation, she completed a staff nurse evidence-based practice fellowship which provided extensive training in quality improvement. In addition to her clinical experience, she has worked on quality improvement initiatives at the Michigan Medicine Vascular Surgery clinic.
Some of Kim’s primary MSQC responsibilities will be to provide training, support data abstraction and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
