
Wenjing was born in Hubei, China and lived there for 17 years until she went to Beijing for College. She received her degree of dentistry from Peking University in 2002. Since coming to the U.S., Wenjing has lived in Maryland, where she attained a master’s degree in epidemiology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She then worked in the Arizona Department of Health Services and then also lived in California. After Wenjing came to Michigan, she worked at Washtenaw Community College and the University of Michigan Kidney Epidemiology and Cost Center as a data analyst for several years.
Wenjing was drawn to MSQC due to its very important role in improving the quality of general surgeries across Michigan. She is excited to be part of the motivated and fun team!
She likes to run, practice yoga and play ping pong when she has time. Wenjing has three children and enjoys spending time in their schools volunteering in different activities.
